About

In 2012 I returned to my roots after 30 years of being away. I left Louisville, Kentucky in 1982 and headed out for the wide-open spaces of Texas and Oklahoma. Next, I traveled to Philadelphia, the cradle of democracy, the City of Brotherly Love and the town that loves you back. I also lived in various small towns in New Jersey including the state capitol of Trenton.

During this time, I worked in manufacturing in the field of industrial safety and later in human resources. I spent a couple of years developing a mediation practice and mediated cases in the New Jersey Court System. When I moved back to Kentucky, I sold cars for a couple of years and I was a substitute teacher in the Jefferson County Public School System. Then I retired.

I have always had an interest in photography and have taken pictures all my life. I have always been an avid reader and I like to write. I write about film, books, business topics, current events, and traveling. I also write fiction and poetry.

    Hello! Happy August to you! I read your introduction with a keen curiosity. You seem to have lived a very full life, having worked in diverse professions. As a writer, you have also been diverse in your outputs.

    I would like to inform you that our respective advices that we freely gave to Americaoncoffee have been largely in vain at her blog post entitled “COVID, True or False?”. I have since made numerous comments to edify her and one of her other commenters to little or no avail, as you can see by revisiting the post.

        You are very welcome. I look forward to interacting with you more. It would be best to use a desktop or laptop computer with a large screen to view the rich multimedia contents available for heightening your multisensory enjoyment at my blog, which could be too powerful and feature-rich for iPad, iPhone, tablet or other portable devices to handle properly or adequately. Since my intricate blog contains advanced styling and multimedia components plus animations, it is advisable to avoid using the WordPress Reader, which cannot show many of the advanced features in my posts and pages. In order to savour and relish all of the refined and glorious details, reading the posts and pages directly in my blog will produce the best results as intended.

        Needless to say, given your backgrounds, interests and expertise, I am very curious indeed about what you make of my writings, and look forward to learning any insights that you might bring to my intellectual eyrie.
