    • I have always been perplexed by these words from the Hagakure ever since I first heard them uttered by Forest Whitaker in the movie, “Ghost Dog” (the namesake of this blog) years ago. I have often contemplated them deeply and I have meditated on them and on every reading I come up with something different. Yet I feel I understand them on a deeper level that defies intellectual interpretation and goes beyond words. A resonance if you will. I think your take away is spot on and will contemplated your words deeply as well. Thanks for reading.

    We can learn so much from observing the ways of nature..

    And how these wise men use them to explain life as is..

    We all can draw different conclusions from saying like those..
    and they can really inspire how you react to certain things in life..

    ( when it comes to troubles and problems… we have a saying..

    When it rains.. it pours… )

  5. Like the photograph you took, life has its light shining through the rain or darkness. It is never completely bleak in this old world, so don’t give up hope.
    There’s my two cents and rub them together and you’ll still get two, Benn. No magical transformation.
